Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love (1996)

Set in the year 16th century India, Princess Tara is born and lives with her maid Maya. The two best friends become enemies after Tara gets engaged to king Raj Singh (played by Naveen Andrews). Maya is angry at Tara’s sudden change in attitude towards her. She sleeps with Raj on their wedding night and is thrown out of the royal palace. With her sexual prowess, Maya continues to seduce Raj, who is so wrapped up in his hedonism that he doesn’t realise his kingdom is in jeopardy.
